Renaissance Powai
This
is one of the best locations in Mumbai to hangout. The location of the hotel is
excellent. The hotel is situated near Powai Lake in Mumbai. I have been to this hotel several times and
have tried all the restaurants and cafeterias inside.
I
had once visited the hotel in Christmas. This was a great experience. The hotel
was full of lights and decorations. There was this huge Christmas tree near the
reception and also a gingerbread house. They had also arranged live music in
the hotel. I think this is the best time to visit the hotel. The atmosphere is
very soothing.
I
had visited the hotel a weekend before Christmas. The decorations are there for
the whole Christmas week till new year.
The
restaurants inside the hotel are listed below
Nawab
Saheb (North Indian delicacies): Well
the food here in this restaurant is delicious. They have a la carte and also a
set menu. The set menu for vegetarians costs Rs.2200/- per person. This menu
includes 3-4 Appetisers, a bread basket with assorted breads, 3 vegetables and
dal makhani, Biryani and also desert. Its perfect if one wants a proper 4
course meal.
But
we ordered a la carte which also turned out to be a good option. We ordered a
Paneer sabzi and a paneer kulcha and warqi paratha. The breads were
outstanding. Then we had Dal tadka and steam rice which were also very good.
The deserts were complimentary even if
we order a la carte.
They
also have live ghazal playing in the evening.
The
restaurant has Zomato gold offers and also there are good deals on eatigo.
Lake view Café: This is a 24 hour
café for multi cuisines. You can also have buffet in this café. The Buffet
spread here is just awesome. This café has a magnificient view of Powai lake.
Frattelli
Fresh: They do serve Italian delicacies
here.
Emperors
court: This restaurant serves Chinese
delicacies.
Mumbai
Express (Deli): The deli is mainly
known for its desert.
They
also have very good and comfortable stay options. You check out the bed and
breakfast deals or the lake view room.
